Description

Planteray XO 20th Anniversary is a Barbados rum made to celebrate Alexandre Gabriel’s 20 years as Master Blender. Aged first in the Caribbean and then in France, it is known for its smooth texture, layered character and long, warming finish.

Aroma & Palate
The nose brings inviting notes of vanilla, ripe banana and toasted coconut, with a hint of fresh mango. On the palate, chocolate and vanilla mingle with sweet, mature fruit and gentle oak. Smooth and rounded in texture, it finishes with lingering warmth and complexity.

Distillation & Maturation
The rum is aged for several years in bourbon casks in Barbados, then shipped to France for a second maturation in small French oak casks previously used for Ferrand Cognac. This double-ageing approach adds further depth and polish to the blend.

Serving Suggestions
Enjoy neat at room temperature to appreciate its aromas and finish. It also works well over a large ice cube, or as a rich, aged-rum alternative in an Old Fashioned. Try it alongside dark chocolate or toasted nuts.
