Description

Mayela is Bideona’s modern take on the traditional cosechero wines of Rioja Alavesa: a lively, fruit-led Tempranillo made without oak ageing or carbonic maceration. Its six possible label designs feature illustrations of the growers behind the wine, celebrating the families who have cared for the region’s historic vineyards across generations.

Tasting Notes
A youthful red with an inviting, fruit-forward character. Cherry and blackberry lead the aroma, complemented by notes of Mediterranean herbs. The palate is juicy and fresh, with an easy-going style that makes it well suited to relaxed drinking.

Production
Made from Tempranillo grown in Rioja Alavesa, Mayela is produced without oak ageing or carbonic maceration, preserving the grape’s natural fruit and the character of the area. Harvesting methods and further vinification details are not specified.
