Massolino’s Langhe Riesling is a refined expression of one of the world’s most celebrated white grape varieties, shaped by the cool, mineral-driven hills of Piedmont. This is a wine that combines precision, freshness, and subtle aromatic complexity, offering a distinctly Italian take on Riesling while staying true to the grape’s hallmark elegance and tension.

Tasting Notes
In the glass, it shows a bright pale straw-yellow color, with intensity that may vary slightly by vintage. The bouquet is typically delicate yet distinctive, with citrus, white flowers, and youthful fruit layered over the variety’s classic hydrocarbon and mineral notes. On the palate, it is crisp and lively, with Riesling’s natural acidity giving the wine both energy and definition. A fresh, fruit-forward impression in youth gradually gives way to more nuanced mineral and savory tones, and it has the structure to develop gracefully with a few years in bottle.

Production
Produced from 100% Riesling in the Langhe, where the combination of altitude, exposure, and mineral-rich soils creates an ideal setting for this expressive variety. The wine is vinified in stainless steel to preserve purity and freshness, then kept on the lees for 8 to 10 months before resting and bottling, adding texture and complexity without overpowering the varietal character.

Food & Serving
This wine pairs beautifully with seafood, shellfish, sushi, light fish dishes, and vegetable-based cuisine, as well as mildly spiced Asian dishes that complement its acidity and aromatic profile. Serve chilled at around 8–10°C, and decanting is generally not necessary.
