Tasting Notes
The wine displays a luminous golden hue and an intensely complex bouquet of ripe stone fruit, honey, candied citrus and delicate spice. On the palate, it is rich and full-bodied, with layers of peach, apricot and tropical fruit balanced by lively Mosel acidity. A beautifully persistent finish reveals further nuances of honeyed fruit and spice. With its concentration, acidity and balance, this Auslese has excellent ageing potential and can develop gracefully for many years in bottle.

Production
The grapes originate in the steep Zeltinger Sonnenuhr vineyards along the Mosel, a celebrated site known for its sun-exposed slopes and mineral-rich soils. Riesling grapes for this Auslese*** are harvested selectively at advanced ripeness, with only the most suitable fruit chosen for the wine. Gentle vinification preserves the purity of the site and varietal character, while careful maturation allows the wine’s sweetness, acidity and mineral depth to integrate harmoniously.

Food & Serving
Serve this Riesling Auslese slightly chilled, ideally at around 8–10°C. Its balance of sweetness and acidity makes it a superb match for delicate fish, shellfish with lightly spiced sauces, poultry, pâté and mature or blue cheeses. It can be enjoyed immediately, but decanting is generally unnecessary; opening the bottle shortly before serving is sufficient, while older bottles may benefit from careful decanting if sediment has formed.
