Luce della Vite 2012 brings together Merlot’s richness and softness with Sangiovese’s structure and distinctive Tuscan character. Released as a special 20th-anniversary edition, marked by its commemorative label, this mature Super Tuscan offers a chance to experience a notable chapter in the wine’s history.

Tasting Notes
Deep and concentrated, with aromas of ripe blackcurrant, blackberry and dark cherry followed by tobacco, cedar, warm spice and balsamic notes. The palate is silky and full, with mature tannins, layers of dark fruit, spice and liquorice, and a long, elegant finish with a subtle smoky edge. After more than a decade in bottle, the wine balances freshness and structure with developed, complex aromas. It is drinking well now and is expected to remain enjoyable through 2032 and beyond, depending on storage.

Food & Serving
Serve at 17–18°C. Decant for one to two hours to allow the wine to open. Its depth and mature character pair well with veal, beef, game, truffle dishes and aged hard cheeses.
