Tasting Notes
A delicate salmon-pink colour leads to aromas of wild strawberry, raspberry and citrus, with hints of rose, toasted pastry and chalk. The palate is layered and finely textured, balancing ripe red-fruit character with vibrant acidity and a long, mineral finish. Extended cellar ageing gives the wine additional complexity, while its freshness and structure should allow it to continue evolving gracefully. It is rewarding to enjoy now, though careful cellaring may reveal further nuance over the coming years.

Production
Cristal Rosé draws on selected Grand Cru vineyard sites, notably Pinot Noir from Aÿ and Chardonnay from the Côte des Blancs. Roederer’s rosé-making approach combines Pinot Noir and Chardonnay with a carefully controlled infusion of Pinot Noir, seeking depth of colour and flavour while preserving precision. The Late Release designation indicates extended maturation before release; specific harvest and disgorgement details for this bottle are not provided.

Food & Serving
Serve at around 10–12°C in a tulip-shaped Champagne glass. Its red-fruit and mineral notes pair beautifully with langoustine, lobster, seared scallops or fine sashimi, and it can also accompany roast poultry. Decanting is generally unnecessary; open gently and allow the wine a little time in the glass to unfold.
