Description

Louis Roederer Brut Vintage 2015 is a generous, characterful Champagne presented in a magnum giftbox, with Pinot Noir lending structure and Chardonnay bringing freshness. Roederer makes its vintage Champagne only in the best years, aiming to express the character of each individual harvest.

Tasting Notes
Bright pale gold in the glass, with fine, persistent bubbles. The nose opens with Pinot Noir notes of raspberry and cherry, followed by dried fig and apricot, with a subtle toasted-oak aroma.

Production
The 2015 blend is 70% Pinot Noir and 30% Chardonnay. After alcoholic fermentation, 27% of the wine underwent malolactic fermentation, while 39% was matured in oak barrels; the second fermentation in bottle lasted four years. The Pinot Noir character reflects the celebrated vineyards around Verzenay and Verzy. Harvesting methods are not specified.

Food & Serving
Enjoy as an aperitif or serve with white meat. Serve well chilled, around 8–10°C; a magnum can benefit from a brief rest after opening, but decanting is generally unnecessary for Champagne.
