Tasting Notes
The wine shows a luminous pale-gold colour with delicate green reflections. Its expressive bouquet opens with ripe peach, apricot and citrus fruit, followed by hints of wet stone and fine mineral notes. On the palate, it is full-bodied yet precise, balancing generous fruit with lively acidity. A subtle saline character emerges on the long, persistent finish, adding further complexity. Already highly rewarding, this Riesling also has the structure and acidity to develop beautifully with further bottle age. With time, its fruit profile can become more nuanced, while the mineral depth and savoury complexity take centre stage.

Production
The grapes come from the steep slopes of the historic Morstein vineyard in Westhofen, Rheinhessen, where the limestone-rich soils contribute both depth and a distinctive mineral expression. The fruit is hand-harvested to ensure careful selection of fully ripe, healthy grapes. It is crafted in a dry Grosses Gewächs style, with the emphasis on purity, texture, site character and a long, age-worthy finish.

Food & Serving
Serve lightly chilled at around 10–12°C, allowing the wine to open and reveal its full complexity in the glass. It pairs especially well with delicate fish, shellfish, white meat and refined Asian cuisine, while its freshness also makes it an excellent aperitif. Decanting is not essential, but 30–60 minutes in a carafe can help a mature bottle show greater aromatic depth.
