Tasting Notes
The wine displays a bright golden colour with subtle green reflections. Its mature bouquet brings together ripe peach, citrus fruit, honey and finely mineral nuances, with bottle age adding further depth and harmony. On the palate, it is full-bodied and layered, balancing generous fruit with vibrant acidity. The finish is long, fresh and persistent, with the structure to continue developing when well stored, although this mature vintage is already ready to enjoy.

Production
The grapes for Kirchspiel Riesling GG come from the celebrated Kirchspiel vineyard in Rheinhessen, where limestone-rich soils contribute to the wine’s mineral character and focused acidity. The fruit was hand-harvested before being carefully vinified and matured in oak casks, allowing the wine to develop greater texture, aromatic complexity and depth while preserving the freshness expected of high-quality Riesling.

Food & Serving
Serve lightly chilled at around 10–12°C. This mature Riesling is an excellent match for fine fish, shellfish, seafood dishes, poultry and delicate veal, while its acidity and mineral character also complement aromatic Asian cuisine. It can be enjoyed immediately; decanting is generally not essential, though a brief airing in a carafe may help reveal its full aromatic complexity.
