Tasting Notes
The wine displays a luminous golden colour with youthful green reflections. Its complex bouquet brings together ripe peach, citrus fruit, delicate honey and finely focused mineral notes. On the palate, it is full-bodied and elegant, with a refined balance between generous fruit and refreshing acidity. The finish is long and persistent, marked by subtle salinity and a lingering mineral impression. As a mature 2009 Riesling, it offers considerable drinking pleasure now, with developed tertiary nuances complementing its fruit and acidity. Properly stored, it should continue to evolve gracefully in bottle.

Production
The grapes come from the steep slopes of the Hubacker vineyard in Rheinhessen, where the site’s distinctive terroir contributes depth, freshness and mineral precision. The fruit was hand-harvested before being carefully vinified to preserve the purity of the Riesling and the character of its origin. The result is a structured, age-worthy Großes Gewächs with both concentration and finesse.

Food & Serving
Serve lightly chilled at around 10–12°C. This Riesling is an excellent match for fine fish, shellfish, white meat and aromatic Asian cuisine, while its freshness also makes it a sophisticated aperitif. Decanting is not essential, but a short decant or generous time in the glass can help reveal the wine’s mature aromas and layered character.
