Tasting Notes
The wine presents a bright golden hue, reflecting both its age and concentration. Its bouquet opens with ripe peach, citrus zest and pronounced mineral tones, complemented by subtle spice and the complexity gained from bottle maturation. On the palate, generous fruit is balanced by refreshing acidity, with flavours of stone fruit and citrus framed by a fine, savoury character. The finish is long, elegant and persistent. The 2010 vintage is now entering a mature stage, yet a well-stored bottle should continue to develop additional tertiary complexity over the coming years.

Production
Sourced from the renowned Abts E vineyard in Rheinhessen, this Riesling was made from hand-harvested grapes selected for concentration and balance. The wine matured for 12 months in oak barrels, allowing the fruit, acidity and mineral character to integrate while adding texture and depth. The site’s distinctive expression remains at the heart of the finished wine.

Food & Serving
Serve lightly chilled at approximately 10–12°C. It is an excellent match for refined fish dishes, shellfish, seafood preparations and delicately seasoned poultry or other light meats. While decanting is not essential, a brief decant of 20–30 minutes can help the mature aromas unfold; alternatively, allow the wine to open gradually in the glass.
