Kellerei Bozen Puntscheit Kerner is an elegant Alto Adige DOC white wine made entirely from Kerner, a grape known for combining Alpine freshness with expressive, aromatic fruit. Produced by the historic Kellerei Bozen, founded in 1908, it reflects the high-altitude character and refined style of South Tyrolean wines.

Tasting Notes
The wine displays a bright straw-yellow colour with delicate greenish highlights. Its nose is intense and aromatic, offering inviting notes of ripe peach and apricot, followed by a subtle spicy impression reminiscent of nutmeg. Dry, full-bodied and characterful on the palate, it balances generous fruit with lively freshness. The finish is gently spicy and refreshing, making the wine approachable in its youth while allowing it to develop additional complexity over the short to medium term when properly stored.

Production
The Kerner grapes are cultivated at elevations of approximately 600–800 metres in Alto Adige, where cool mountain conditions help preserve freshness and aromatic intensity. The wine is produced under the Alto Adige DOC designation from 100% Kerner grapes. Specific harvesting and vinification details are not provided.

Its dry, fresh and rounded profile makes it a natural match for delicate dishes such as freshwater fish, shellfish, light pasta, risotto, poultry and mild soft cheeses.
