Tasting Notes
In the glass, this mature Trockenbeerenauslese shows a luminous golden hue with amber reflections. Its expressive bouquet combines honey, dried fruit and warm spice with a subtle mineral character shaped by its steep vineyard origin. The palate is rich, opulent and concentrated, yet carefully balanced by refreshing Riesling acidity. Layers of honeyed fruit and citrus develop into a long, persistent finish with an appealing freshness. Production
The grapes came from the steep slopes of the Eitelsbacher Karthäuser Hofberg in the Mosel-Saar-Ruwer region. This Trockenbeerenauslese was made from hand-selected, fully ripe Riesling grapes affected by noble rot, or Botrytis cinerea. The resulting berries offered exceptional concentrations of sugar and flavour, creating the wine’s pronounced sweetness, density and aromatic complexity.

Food & Serving
Serve slightly chilled at approximately 10–12°C. Its concentration and sweetness make it a natural partner for mature and blue cheeses, fruit-based desserts, crème brûlée and dark chocolate; it can also be enjoyed slowly on its own. Decanting is not usually essential for a wine of this age, but a careful standing-up and gentle opening may help separate any sediment. If needed, pour slowly into a clean decanter immediately before serving, while avoiding prolonged aeration.
