Ippolito 1845 Pescanera Rosè 2025 is a refined still rosé from Calabria that captures the character of the region’s coastal vineyards with impressive clarity. Made from Greco Nero by one of Calabria’s oldest wineries, founded in 1845, it offers a fresh, elegant expression shaped by tradition, sea breezes, and careful craftsmanship.

Tasting Notes
In the glass, it shows a delicate peach-pink hue that immediately signals finesse. The nose is bright and inviting, with citrus, wild strawberry, and white blossom aromas leading the way. The palate is crisp, lively, and beautifully balanced, with a supple texture and a clean mineral finish that reflects its coastal origin. It is made for early enjoyment rather than long aging, though its freshness and structure will keep it appealing over the short term.

Production
This rosé is produced from Greco Nero grapes grown in coastal areas of Calabria, where the vines benefit from maritime influence and a terroir that helps preserve freshness and aromatic precision. The grapes are harvested by hand and gently pressed without maceration, a vinification method that protects the wine’s pale color and delicate fruit expression.

Food & Serving
Serve well chilled, ideally around 8–10°C, to highlight its freshness and aromatic lift. It pairs beautifully with seafood, grilled prawns, light pasta dishes, fresh salads, antipasti, and soft cheeses. Decanting is not necessary.
