Description

Inama Sauvignon Vulcaia is a distinctive Veneto Sauvignon Blanc, pairing the grape’s vivid fruit and herbal character with the mineral, saline edge of Monte Foscarino’s volcanic soils. Created more than 25 years ago, it offers a fresh expression of the Soave area beyond its better-known native varieties.

Tasting Notes
Straw yellow with golden reflections, it opens with grapefruit, pineapple and peach, lifted by elderflower and aromatic herbs. The palate is fresh yet full, with vegetal nuances, a pronounced mineral structure and a persistent finish.

Production
The Sauvignon Blanc comes from south- and southwest-facing vineyards between Monteforte d’Alpone and Soave, on the slopes of Monte Foscarino. Basalt- and tuff-rich volcanic soils contribute to the wine’s characteristic saline impression. The grapes are hand-harvested, gently pressed and briefly macerated on their skins; fermentation and maturation take place in temperature-controlled stainless steel to preserve aromatic freshness, followed by light filtration.

Food & Serving
Serve chilled, around 8–10°C. Its citrus freshness and mineral character suit seafood, shellfish, grilled fish, goat’s cheese and green vegetable dishes. It is ready to enjoy on release; decanting is not necessary.
