Description

Highland Park 16 Year Old “Between You & I” is a limited-edition Orkney single malt created in collaboration with Swedish Michelin-starred chef Björn Frantzén. Bottled at 48% ABV, it pairs Highland Park’s gently smoky character with a distinctive cask mix—and invites drinkers to explore their own impressions with a set of 16 tasting cards.

Aroma & Palate
The nose is warm and inviting, with vanilla, floral notes, fruit and spiced oak. On the palate, honey and dried fruit meet toasted oak and gentle peat smoke, which adds depth without overpowering the whisky’s rounded, full-bodied feel. The finish is long and mellow, with warming spice, malt and a light maritime mineral note.

Distillation & Maturation
Matured for 16 years in a combination of virgin Swedish oak, ex-bourbon casks and European and American oak casks seasoned with sherry. It is bottled without chill filtration and with natural colour to preserve its character.

Serving Suggestions
Best enjoyed neat at room temperature, with time to open up in the glass. A few drops of water can reveal further layers; the included tasting cards make it a natural choice to share and discuss with fellow whisky drinkers.

Distillery
Highland Park is based in Orkney, the island group north of mainland Scotland, and is known for single malts that bring together gentle peat smoke and a rounded, malt-led character. This edition was developed with Björn Frantzén, whose culinary approach draws on Nordic ingredients, Japanese precision and French technique.
