Production
Kirchberg lies above Hatzenport on the left bank of the Mosel, with slopes described as reaching gradients of 100–150%. The vineyard’s soils are hard red slate, rich in iron oxide, and quartzite, and it is considered one of the warmest sites along the river. The available vineyard note concerns the 2018 vintage and mentions the producer’s commitment to avoiding oenological corrections; it does not provide specific harvest or vinification details for the 2020 wine.
