Giovanni Rosso Roero Arneis 2025 is a dry white wine that captures the distinctive character of Roero in Piedmont. Made exclusively from Arneis, it combines fragrant fruit, lively freshness and a refined mineral edge—an elegant expression of one of the region’s historic white-wine varieties and its Roero DOCG heritage.

Tasting Notes
The wine is straw-yellow in colour with delicate greenish reflections. Its aromatic profile is lively and expressive, offering notes of ripe pear, peach and tropical fruit alongside subtle white flowers. On the palate, it is soft and rounded, balanced by refreshing acidity and a pleasant mineral and gently spicy undertone. The finish is persistent and harmonious, with the sandy, fossil-rich soils lending the wine finesse and clarity. This is a fresh, youthful Arneis that is best enjoyed in its early years, when its floral and fruit-driven character is at its most vibrant. Its six months of lees ageing provide additional texture and help support its balanced, lingering finish.

Production
The grapes come from vineyards on the left bank of the Tanaro River, where gently sloping sites and favourable elevations support even ripening. The 35- to 45-year-old vines grow in sandy soils enriched with limestone and fossil deposits, contributing a distinctive mineral character. The grapes are harvested by hand before fermentation in stainless-steel tanks, a method chosen to preserve aromatic purity and varietal definition. The wine then rests on its lees for six months, gaining greater softness, structure and length.

Food & Serving
Serve chilled at approximately 8–10°C. Giovanni Rosso Roero Arneis pairs naturally with seafood, shellfish, grilled or baked fish, fresh cheeses and vegetarian dishes such as asparagus, spring vegetables, salads and delicate pasta preparations. Decanting is not necessary; simply give the bottle a gentle swirl in the glass or open it shortly before serving to allow its floral and mineral notes to unfold.
