Description

Fuligni’s 2016 Brunello di Montalcino Riserva brings the vintage’s freshness and precision together with the greater longevity associated with the Riserva designation. It is a structured, finely detailed wine whose poised style rewards patience in the cellar.

Tasting Notes
Garnet in colour, it opens with aromas of dusty rose and crushed stone, followed by wild strawberry and dried cherry. On the palate, a silky texture meets savoury mineral notes, tart raspberry, cool herbs and bright acidity.

Food & Serving
Serve at around 16–18°C with a little time to breathe. Decant for about two hours before serving, or longer if the wine seems reserved; it should also develop beautifully with further bottle age. Pair it with roast lamb, braised beef, wild mushroom dishes or aged Pecorino.
