Freccianera Franciacorta Brut Nature 2022 is a refined vintage sparkling wine from Lombardy, made using the traditional method with Chardonnay and Pinot Noir. Produced without dosage, it offers a precise, mineral-driven expression of Franciacorta, with excellent tension and purity. The Freccianera vintage range was created to celebrate the estate’s 30th anniversary and showcase the character of each harvest.

Tasting Notes
In the glass, the wine appears pale straw-yellow with a fine, persistent stream of bubbles. The nose combines delicate yeasty nuances with fresh fruit and subtle spice, creating an elegant and layered aromatic profile. On the palate, it is bone-dry, linear and harmonious, with pronounced mineral freshness and a lively structure. The absence of added sugar allows the Chardonnay and Pinot Noir to shine with clarity, while extended lees ageing contributes finesse and complexity. Its vibrant structure makes it suitable for enjoying now, while careful cellaring may allow further development of its savoury and autolytic nuances.

Production
The grapes come from the hills of Franciacorta, where a subalpine climate is tempered by Mediterranean influences. The moderating effect of Lake Iseo, together with cool mountain breezes from the upper Camonica Valley, helps preserve freshness while encouraging even ripening and expressive aromas. The wine is made according to the traditional method: a base wine undergoes a second fermentation in bottle, followed by extended ageing on the lees. It is then disgorged with zero dosage, without added sugar, preserving the wine’s natural precision and mineral character.

Food & Serving
Serve well chilled at approximately 6–8°C. Its dry, refreshing profile is an excellent match for oysters, shellfish, delicate fish dishes, sushi, seafood starters and mature or savoury cheeses. Decanting is not recommended, as it may dissipate the wine’s fine bubbles; instead, serve it in high-quality sparkling wine glasses to balance freshness and aromatic expression.

The range was developed to mark the winery’s 30th anniversary and reflects a commitment to expressing the character of individual vintages through elegant, traditionally made sparkling wines.
