Foradori Teroldego is a pure expression of Trentino’s native Teroldego grape, crafted by Elisabetta Foradori, one of the region’s most respected and influential producers. With its biodynamic approach, local character, and striking sense of place, it captures both the heritage and modern precision that have made Foradori a benchmark name in northern Italy.

Tasting Notes
In the glass, it shows a bright ruby-red color with purple edges, hinting at its youthful energy. The nose is layered and distinctive, with notes of black cherry, wild berries, iron, cinchona, dark spice, noble vegetal tones, and a subtle earthy hint of humus. On the palate, it is full-flavoured yet finely balanced, with a clear terroir-driven profile and a well-structured, harmonious feel. The wine’s freshness and depth suggest good medium-term aging potential, during which its savory and mineral nuances should continue to evolve gracefully.

Production
Made from 100% Teroldego grown in Trentino Alto Adige, this wine comes from a biodynamically farmed vineyard that reflects the unique alpine terroir of Vigneti delle Dolomiti. The grapes are fermented in concrete tanks, a method that helps preserve purity and texture, before aging for 12 months in a combination of barrels and concrete to build complexity without masking the grape’s natural character.

Food & Serving
This is an excellent partner for roasted poultry, grilled lamb, mushroom-based dishes, and richly flavoured Northern Italian cuisine such as polenta with game ragù or braised meats. Serve at around 16–18°C, and while decanting is not essential, a short period in the glass will help the aromas open beautifully.
