Foradori Granato 2023

Foradori Granato is a beautifully expressive Teroldego from Trentino-Alto Adige, crafted by Elisabetta Foradori with a deep respect for nature and the grape’s true character. Organic and artisanal in spirit, it reflects one of northern Italy’s most distinctive native varieties, with a style that has helped make Teroldego a benchmark red wine of the region.

Tasting Notes
In the glass, it shows a vivid ruby-red color, immediately inviting and full of life. The nose is fruit-driven and generous, with ripe cherry and blackberry aromas lifted by subtle woody notes from aging. On the palate, it is intense and full-bodied, combining dark berry fruit with a mineral edge that adds freshness and definition. The finish is fruit-forward and persistent, and while already highly enjoyable, it has the structure to develop gracefully over time.

Production
This wine comes from Trentino-Alto Adige, where Teroldego thrives in a landscape shaped by alpine influence and mineral-rich soils. Grapes are organically grown and vinified with careful attention to preserving purity and varietal identity, beginning with fermentation in large open vats. The wine then matures for 24 months in oak barrels, adding subtle complexity without overshadowing the fruit.

Food & Serving
Granato pairs well with roasted meats, game, braised dishes, and rich mushroom-based recipes, as well as aged cheeses. Serve it at around 16–18°C, and decanting for about 30–60 minutes is recommended to help the wine раскры its aromatics and texture.
