Feudi di San Gregorio’s Lacryma Christi Bianco 2025 is a fresh, characterful white from the volcanic slopes of Mount Vesuvius, made from the Campanian grapes Coda di Volpe and Falanghina. Its bright fruit, lively citrus and saline mineral edge offer an elegant expression of the historic Lacryma Christi area, whose winemaking traditions date back to antiquity.

Tasting Notes
The wine has a clear, brilliant straw-yellow appearance. Aromas of white fruit mingle with delicate floral notes and a hint of Mediterranean herbs. On the palate, it is smooth and inviting, with lively citrus freshness and a distinctive mineral, saline finish.

Production
The vineyards lie on the sunny southeastern slopes of Vesuvius, around 170 metres above sea level. Porous, mineral-rich volcanic soils and a mild Mediterranean climate encourage steady grape ripening. Fermentation takes place in temperature-controlled stainless-steel tanks, followed by around five months of maturation in steel to preserve the wine’s fresh fruit and floral character. Harvesting details are not specified. Its vibrant, youthful style is best enjoyed while fresh rather than held for extended ageing.

Food & Serving
Serve well chilled, around 8–10°C, with delicate seafood, shellfish, vegetable dishes or light aperitifs. Its citrus lift and saline finish also make it a natural match for simply prepared fish. Decanting is not necessary; open shortly before serving.
