Tasting Notes
The wine shows a clear, delicate pink hue. On the nose, fragrant rose petals lead into bright notes of citrus and small red berries, creating an aromatic profile that is both graceful and refreshing. The palate is dry and flavourful, with lively natural freshness, balanced fruit and a refined, lingering finish. Its combination of floral elegance and vibrant acidity makes it especially enjoyable in its youth, when the Aleatico aromas are at their most expressive. It is best appreciated over the next couple of years rather than intended for extended cellaring.

Production
The vineyards are located near Sovana at approximately 200 metres above sea level, across slopes and plains characterised by volcanic soils rich in tuff. Aleatico grapes are hand-harvested in several stages during September to preserve their aromatic integrity. After destemming, the grapes undergo gentle pressing and a short cold maceration on the skins to achieve the wine’s delicate colour and aromatic definition. Fermentation takes place in small stainless-steel tanks at a controlled temperature, followed by maturation on the fine lees until bottling to enhance texture, finesse and complexity.

Food & Serving
Serve chilled at approximately 8–10°C. This fresh rosé is an excellent match for lean fish, shellfish, light seafood salads, grilled vegetables and fresh cheeses. Decanting is not necessary; simply open shortly before serving and pour into well-chilled white-wine or rosé glasses to allow its floral aromas to develop.
