Tasting Notes
The wine displays a luminous golden colour, with an intense and expressive nose of honey, ripe peach and apricot. On the palate, it is rich and full-bodied, combining concentrated fruit and luscious natural sweetness with the balancing freshness characteristic of Riesling Icewine. Its complexity and acidity give it excellent ageing potential, allowing the wine to develop further in bottle when carefully stored.

Production
The grapes come from the Kaseler Nies’chen vineyard in the Mosel-Saar-Ruwer, a renowned Riesling region known for producing wines of finesse and intensity. For Icewine, the grapes remain on the vine until temperatures fall below -8°C, allowing naturally frozen water in the berries to be pressed away and the sugars and flavours to become highly concentrated. The hand-selected fruit was carefully vinified and matured in oak barrels, resulting in a richly textured and complex dessert wine.

Food & Serving
Serve well chilled at approximately 8–10°C. Its sweetness and concentrated stone-fruit character make it a natural partner for fruit-based desserts, apricot or peach tart, crème brûlée and blue cheeses. It can also be enjoyed on its own as a luxurious finale to a meal. Decanting is generally not necessary, although a brief airing in the glass can help reveal its layers and aromatic detail.
