Description

DuMOL’s Wester Reach Chardonnay 2023 is a generous, polished Sonoma Coast blend drawn from the Flax, El Diablo and Heintz vineyards. Its combination of concentrated fruit, lively acidity and measured French oak gives it both richness and poise.

Tasting Notes
The nose opens with enveloping aromas of peach and lemon zest, layered with cream, toasted bread and a subtle struck-match note. On the palate, it is full-bodied and satin-textured, with concentrated flavors carried by taut acidity and a long, luxuriously creamy finish.

Production
The blend brings together fruit from Flax, El Diablo and Heintz. Harvest took place over a month, from September 14 to October 14. The wine matured for 11 months in French oak barrels, 27% of them new, followed by four months in tank. The supplied information does not specify vineyard soils or harvesting methods.

Food & Serving
