Domaine Vincent Dauvissat’s 2020 Chablis Grand Cru Les Clos is a commanding expression of one of Chablis’s most celebrated Grand Cru vineyards, prized for its scale and depth. Richly concentrated yet lifted by bright acidity, it combines the mineral character of Chablis with the structure to develop gracefully in the cellar.

Tasting Notes
The nose opens with citrus oil, freshly baked bread, oyster shell, white flowers and wet stone. On the palate, the wine is full-bodied, layered and richly textured, with impressive concentration balanced by crisp acidity and a long, resonant finish. Its concentration and structure suggest promising aging potential, though it can also be enjoyed young with time in the glass.

Food & Serving
Serve at around 10–12°C with roast turbot, scallops, lobster or simply prepared poultry; its acidity and saline notes also suit oysters and other shellfish. A short spell in a decanter or a little time open in the glass can help the wine’s layered aromas emerge, particularly when drinking it young.
