Domaine Vincent Dauvissat’s 2020 Chablis 1er Cru Vaillons pairs the character of a celebrated Chablis producer with the generous, aromatic style of this Premier Cru vineyard. A sensual, expressive Chardonnay, it balances ripe fruit and texture with the freshness and saline finish that make Chablis distinctive.

Tasting Notes
The nose opens with orange oil, peach, jasmine and a delicate hint of nutmeg. On the palate, it is medium to full-bodied, satiny and enveloping, with a generous core of fruit kept lively by crisp acidity and a long, saline finish. Its structure should allow it to develop gracefully over the coming years.

Food & Serving
Serve lightly chilled, around 10–12°C. It should suit shellfish, grilled or pan-roasted fish, and poultry with a light cream sauce. Decanting is not essential; a little time in the glass can help the aromas unfold.
