Tasting Notes
Bright ruby in colour, the wine opens with expressive aromas of ripe cherries, raspberries and redcurrants, followed by delicate notes of violets, earth and warm spice. On the palate, it is elegant yet generously textured, with supple fruit, balanced freshness and a refined, lingering finish. The combination of mature fruit and Pinot Noir’s natural finesse gives the wine both immediate charm and depth. It is enjoyable now, while its structure and freshness should allow it to develop gracefully over the next few years if carefully cellared.

Production
The cuvée is made from carefully selected grapes harvested from vines averaging around 35 years of age in Puligny-Montrachet, Meursault and Savigny-les-Beaune. By blending fruit from several Burgundy appellations, Domaine Henri Clerc takes a more liberated approach than the region’s traditional commune-focused style, while preserving the elegance and sense of place associated with Pinot Noir from Burgundy. Food & Serving
