Awarded 99 points by La Revue du Vin de France, Domaine de Montille’s 2022 Meursault 1er Cru Les Perrières comes from one of the appellation’s most prestigious Premier Cru sites. The domaine’s tiny 0.45-hectare parcel yielded around 3,000 bottles, making this a notably limited expression of the vineyard.

Tasting Notes
The 2022 is marked by a distinctly stony, mineral character, with delicate floral nuances. On the palate, it is intense and focused, combining concentration and structure with freshness, energy and precision, followed by a persistent finish. The available notes do not specify its appearance.

Production
Domaine de Montille’s parcel lies in the upper part of Les Perrières, a site associated with pronounced minerality. Made from 100% Chardonnay, the wine is fermented in 600- and 228-litre barrels and undergoes both alcoholic and malolactic fermentation. It spends about a year ageing in wood, followed by four to six months in stainless steel to retain freshness and tension. Harvesting details were not provided.
