Description

Domaine de la Grange des Pères Rouge is one of the Languedoc’s most sought-after wines, prized for combining the region’s sun-ripened character with the structure and longevity of a serious cellar wine. Made outside the region’s most restrictive appellation rules, it reflects Laurent Vaillé’s distinctive vision, established at the estate in the 1990s.

Tasting Notes
The estate’s red is typically deep in colour, with aromas of dark berries, plum, Mediterranean herbs and savoury spice. On the palate, expect concentrated fruit balanced by freshness, firm but polished tannins and a long, layered finish; the 2021’s precise profile may vary with bottle age and storage. This is a wine with notable ageing potential. A well-stored bottle should develop greater savoury complexity over time, though exact drinking windows depend on the vintage and individual bottle.

Production
The domaine is based near Aniane in the Languedoc, where warm Mediterranean conditions are moderated by the varied terrain and elevation of the area.
