Description

Dom Pérignon Vintage 2008 pairs the house’s celebrated Champagne style with a bottle design created by musician and artist Lenny Kravitz. This limited-edition presentation showcases a vintage shaped by a cool, challenging growing season, prized for its freshness, structure and capacity to develop with time.

Tasting Notes
Pale and bright in the glass, it opens with aromas of citrus, green apple, pear and white flowers. With air, notes of toasted bread and almond emerge alongside a subtle mineral character.

Production
Made from Chardonnay and Pinot Noir, the blend brings together Chardonnay’s freshness and elegance with Pinot Noir’s depth and structure. The 2008 growing season was cool and challenging, contributing to the wine’s lively acidity and firm structure. It matured for at least nine years on its lees in bottle before release; specific vineyard and harvesting details are not provided.

Food & Serving
Enjoy as an aperitif or serve alongside shellfish, fish, scallops and delicate poultry dishes. Serve well chilled at 8–10°C. It can be enjoyed now or cellared for further development; decanting is generally unnecessary, though a little time in the glass can allow its aromas to open.

Producer
Dom Pérignon is a prestige cuvée from Champagne house Moët & Chandon, one of the region’s best-known producers. The wine is named for the Benedictine monk Dom Pierre Pérignon, whose name has become closely associated with Champagne’s history. This edition brings the house’s vintage Champagne together with Lenny Kravitz’s artistic interpretation of the bottle.
