On the palate, it is full-bodied and layered, with concentrated dark fruit, polished tannins and a refined freshness that carries through to a long, elegant finish. The 2005 vintage offers both power and balance, and the wine is now drinking well while retaining further ageing potential in a suitable cellar. Production
Sourced from the gravelly soils of Saint-Julien, where excellent drainage encourages deep-rooted vines and helps Cabernet Sauvignon achieve concentration and aromatic precision. The wine is produced from a blend of Cabernet Sauvignon and Merlot, with careful selection and traditional Bordeaux vinification followed by maturation in oak to integrate the wine’s structure and complexity. The 2005 growing season was especially favourable, contributing to ripe fruit, firm yet refined tannins and excellent cellaring potential.

Food & Serving
Serve at approximately 16–18°C after allowing the bottle to come gradually to temperature. Decant for around one to two hours, taking care with any sediment that may have formed during bottle ageing. Its depth and structure make it an excellent match for roast beef, grilled or braised red meats, game, lamb and mature hard cheeses.
