Bertani Valpolicella Classico Le Miniere di Novare is a graceful, traditional red from the heart of Valpolicella Classica, offering a fresh and elegant expression of Corvina, Corvinone, and Rondinella. Produced by Bertani, a benchmark name in Veneto since 1857, it reflects both heritage and precision in a style that is approachable yet distinctly refined.

Tasting Notes
In the glass, it shows a clear ruby-red colour. The nose is lifted and inviting, with fresh fruit, cherry, and berry aromas layered with a subtle touch of white pepper. On the palate, it is medium-bodied, smooth, and elegant, with a juicy, savoury feel, a long persistent finish, and a pleasant balance that makes it especially versatile at the table.

Production
This wine comes from the Valpolicella Classica area, specifically the Le Miniere vineyard at Tenuta Novare in Arbizzano di Negrar, where the local terroir helps preserve freshness, fragrance, and finesse. The blend is led by Corvina, supported by Corvinone and Rondinella, and the wine is matured in cement tanks for 6–9 months before spending at least another 6 months in bottle, allowing its character to settle and harmonise.

Food & Serving
An excellent match for first courses and second courses, especially pasta dishes, risottos, roasted poultry, and simple grilled meats. Serve slightly cool at around 16–18°C, and decanting is not necessary, though a short aeration can help bring out its aromatic detail.
