The cool coastal climate, coupled with well‑drained soils, produces small, concentrated Pinot Noir berries with vibrant acidity and aromatic intensity. Grapes are carefully harvested by hand at optimal ripeness, with meticulous sorting to ensure only pristine fruit makes it into the fermenters. Vinification at Belle Glos typically involves a mix of whole berries, a measured use of French oak (including a significant proportion of new barrels), and an extended élevage that builds texture and complexity.
