Angelo Negro Roero Arneis Giovanni Blanc de Blancs Dosage Zero is a refined Metodo Classico sparkling wine made entirely from Arneis, offering a rare and distinctive expression of Piedmont’s Roero hills. With no dosage, a long 60 months on the lees, and the depth that comes from centuries of family winemaking, it combines precision, elegance, and a true sense of place.

Tasting Notes
In the glass, it shows an intense straw-yellow color with a fine, persistent mousse. The nose is elegant and layered, with notes of dried flowers and a subtle toasted crust of bread. The palate is crisp yet creamy, with a supple foam that never feels aggressive. Flavors of pear and Renette apple lead into a yeasty, soft, and mineral-driven finish, ending with a delicate, slightly bitter note. Thanks to its structure and lees aging, it has excellent potential to continue developing complexity over the next few years.

Production
Produced in the Roero DOCG area of Piedmont, this wine comes from Arneis grown on the hills of Roero, where the vineyards benefit from the region’s distinctive soils and climate. The grapes are softly pressed as whole clusters, with no maceration and no malolactic fermentation, preserving freshness and aromatic precision. The second fermentation takes place in spring after harvest, followed by 60 months of aging sur lie to build texture and complexity.

Food & Serving
This Dosage Zero sparkling wine pairs beautifully with refined seafood dishes, shellfish, tempura, sushi, and delicate white meats, as well as aged cheeses or savory appetizers. Serve well chilled at around 6–8°C, and decanting is not recommended; simply open carefully to preserve its fine perlage.
