Altemasi Trento Rosè Riserva Brut 2019 is a refined Trentodoc sparkling rosé that captures the elegance of high-altitude winemaking in Trentino-Alto Adige. Made from Chardonnay and Pinot Noir and aged for at least 36 months on the lees, it offers both finesse and depth, with the slow passage of time becoming part of its signature style.

Tasting Notes
In the glass, it shows a delicate rosé hue with subtle copper reflections, signalling both freshness and complexity. The nose is expressive and layered, with ripe cherry, blackberry, and red apple notes leading the way, followed by a gentle hint of pastry and lees-derived nuance. On the palate, it is full-bodied and enveloping, yet balanced and persistent, with a creamy mousse and a lively sense of precision. The long lees aging gives it extra breadth and structure, and while it is delicious now, it has the concentration and balance to develop further complexity over time.

Production
Produced in the mountainous Trentino Alto Adige region, this wine benefits from the cool Alpine climate and the mineral-driven character typical of Trentodoc. Chardonnay and Pinot Noir are carefully harvested to preserve freshness and aromatics, then vinified using the traditional method, with extended aging of at least 36 months on the lees to build texture, depth, and complexity.

Food & Serving
Serve this rosé brut well chilled, ideally at 6-8°C, to highlight its freshness and refined bubbles. It works beautifully as an aperitif, but also pairs especially well with fish dishes, shellfish, and white meats; decanting is not recommended, as it is best enjoyed straight from the bottle once properly chilled.
