Description

Adrien Renoir Champagne Le Cepage Grand Cru Pinot Noir Assemblage Extra Brut is a precise, terroir-driven Champagne built around the depth and structure of Pinot Noir. Sourced from Grand Cru vineyards, it balances concentration with remarkable freshness, offering a refined expression of both the grape and the estate’s attentive winemaking style.

Tasting Notes
In the glass, it shows a fine, elegant mousse and a luminous pale golden color with subtle copper reflections. The nose is crisp and layered, with notes of red berries, citrus zest, white flowers, and a discreet mineral edge that adds complexity. On the palate, the wine is dry and focused, with a taut, energetic texture and flavors of wild strawberry, blood orange, orchard fruit, and chalky minerality. The Extra Brut style keeps the finish clean and precise, while the Pinot Noir backbone gives it shape and persistence. It should age gracefully over the next several years, gaining added complexity and a more rounded texture with time.

Production
This Champagne comes from Grand Cru vineyard sites in France, where chalk-rich soils and cool growing conditions help preserve freshness and finesse. The Pinot Noir grapes are harvested by hand and vinified with a light touch to protect purity of fruit and terroir expression, with the Extra Brut dosage kept deliberately low to emphasize tension and clarity.

Food & Serving
A versatile food Champagne, it pairs beautifully with oysters, sashimi, crab, roast poultry, mushroom dishes, and aged hard cheeses. Serve well chilled at around 8–10°C, and decanting is not recommended; instead, open shortly before serving to preserve its freshness and fine mousse.

Producer
Adrien Renoir Champagne is a grower-producer estate known for crafting expressive, terroir-focused Champagnes with a strong emphasis on precision and vineyard character. Based in a respected Champagne area, the house has earned attention for producing wines that combine modern finesse with a clear sense of place, especially in its Grand Cru cuvées.

A rising name in Champagne’s new generation, this Grand Cru Blanc de Noirs puts pure Pinot Noir centre stage. From the chalky soils of Verzy, it combines ripe red fruit and white flowers with citrus, brioche, hazelnut and a distinctly saline minerality. Extra Brut and beautifully precise, it’s energetic yet generous a terroir-driven Champagne made for the modern wine lover.
