Tasting Notes
In the glass, it shows an intense ruby red color with garnet reflections that hint at its maturity and structure. The nose is generous and layered, with a fragrant bouquet of ripe small red berries, subtle spice, and a warm, inviting intensity. On the palate, it is full-bodied, harmonious, and pleasantly spicy, with ripe fruit balanced by a firm, elegant backbone. The Riserva style and measured élevage give it good aging potential, allowing the wine to develop additional complexity over the next several years.

Production
Produced at the foot of Castel del Monte in Apulia, this wine comes from local Uva di Troia vines cultivated using sustainable methods. The grapes undergo a long maceration to build color and structure, followed by maturation for 8 months in stainless steel and then 12 months in large oak casks, a combination that preserves freshness while adding depth and refinement.

Food & Serving
This is an excellent match for roasted lamb, braised beef, game, mature cheeses, and rich Mediterranean dishes such as orecchiette with meat ragù or mushroom-based recipes. Serve at 16–18°C, and decant for about 30–60 minutes if possible to let the wine fully open and show its aromatic complexity.
