Tasting Notes
In the glass, this 2009 vintage offers a deep, refined colour with the graceful transparency typical of great Pinot Noir. The bouquet is layered and expressive, opening with black cherry, wild berries and violet, followed by oriental spice, forest floor and a delicate hint of dark chocolate. On the palate, it is silky yet impressively powerful, with concentrated fruit held in perfect balance by bright acidity and a finely composed structure. Red and dark berries, floral tones, spice and chalky minerality carry through to a long, persistent finish. While already captivating, it has the concentration and balance to age beautifully for many more years.

Serve at around 16-18°C and, if possible, decant gently 1-2 hours before drinking to help the aromatics unfold. It pairs beautifully with refined dishes such as duck breast, roast pigeon, game birds, veal, mushroom risotto or aged hard cheeses.
