Tasting Notes
The nose is refined and well-defined, with layers of ripe fruit, botrytis character and a measured note of oak. On the palate, pure, concentrated fruit is balanced by a gentle grip and striking precision, finishing with a clear mineral impression.

Production
From Sauternes in Bordeaux, where warm, misty autumn conditions encourage Botrytis cinerea, or noble rot, to develop on the grapes and concentrate their sugars and flavours. The fruit is typically gathered in selective passes to pick each bunch at the right stage of ripeness; fermentation and élevage in oak help shape the wine’s texture and complexity.

Food & Serving
Serve lightly chilled, around 10–12°C, with foie gras, blue cheeses such as Roquefort, or fruit-based desserts. It can be enjoyed without decanting; a little time in the glass will allow its aromas to unfold. Its balance and concentration give it potential to develop over many years in a well-stored cellar.

Château Suduiraut is a historic estate in Preignac, within the Sauternes appellation. Its standing in the region is reflected in its classification as a Premier Cru in the 1855 Bordeaux Classification, a distinction that continues to mark it among Sauternes’ leading producers.
