Description

Château Suduiraut 2019 is a powerful, concentrated sweet wine from Bordeaux, balancing richly botrytised fruit with a long, refined finish. Its poise and intensity earned a striking comparison to neighbouring Château d’Yquem in Neal Martin’s blind tasting.

Tasting Notes
The nose is currently marked by oak, with plenty of fruit emerging beneath it. On the palate, layers of botrytised fruit, candied ginger and quince bring a dense, intense character, while the finish is persistent and refined. Broad-shouldered yet elegant, this is a wine with the structure to develop further in bottle.

Food & Serving
Serve lightly chilled, around 10–12°C. It pairs naturally with blue cheese, foie gras and fruit-based desserts; it can also be enjoyed on its own. Decanting is optional, though a little time in the glass can help the aromas open.
