A lavish, Rhône-inspired California red, the 2020 Sine Qua Non Syrah Eleven Confessions Vineyard combines Syrah with Grenache, Petite Sirah, Viognier and Golden Muskateller. It reflects the distinctive Sine Qua Non approach: expressive, small-production wines that have helped establish California as a source of ambitious Rhône-variety blends.

Tasting Notes
Deep and inky, with red-purple tones, this full-bodied wine opens on dark, exotic fruit layered with lavender, rose petals and mint. Silky tannins frame a concentrated core of vivid fruit, while the many aromatic and textural layers build to a long, dramatic finish. Its concentration and polished tannins suggest potential for further development in the cellar, though the exact drinking window will depend on storage conditions and personal preference.

Food & Serving
Serve at around 16–18°C. It should pair well with grilled or roasted lamb, beef, game and richly seasoned dishes; earthy sides such as mushrooms or lentils would also complement its savory, floral character. Consider decanting for about an hour before serving to let the wine open up.
