Tasting Notes
The wine displays a pale ruby colour with translucent, elegant edges. Its aromatic profile is lively and precise, revealing cherry, raspberry and strawberry alongside delicate floral notes, gentle spice and a subtle forest-floor character from time in oak. On the palate, it is elegant and medium-bodied, with supple yet well-defined tannins and refreshing acidity. The finish is long, polished and finely detailed, balancing pure red fruit with savoury complexity. It is enjoyable in its youth for its energy and freshness, while a few years of cellaring should allow the flavours to become even more integrated and nuanced.

Sourced from the cool coastal environment of the Santa Cruz Mountains, the wine reflects a climate that helps Pinot Noir retain its freshness and aromatic precision. The fruit is fermented naturally with whole clusters, then matured in French oak with only a proportion of new barrels. This restrained approach adds texture, spice and depth while preserving the purity of the fruit and the wine’s terroir-driven character.

Food & Serving
Serve lightly chilled at approximately 14–16°C. Its balance and fresh acidity make it an excellent match for roast chicken, duck, pork tenderloin, mushroom dishes, grilled salmon and delicate charcuterie. Decanting is not essential when serving the wine young, although 20–30 minutes in a decanter can help open its floral and savoury nuances.
