Tasting Notes
In the glass, the wine typically shows a deep garnet core with the first signs of maturity at the rim. The nose is layered and restrained, with blackcurrant, cedar, graphite, tobacco, and hints of earth, spice, and leather emerging with air. The palate is structured and concentrated, yet beautifully poised, with firm tannins, fresh acidity, and a long, mineral-driven finish. While already showing some tertiary complexity, it still has the backbone to evolve gracefully for years to come, especially in a proper cellar.

Produced in Pauillac on Bordeaux’s Left Bank, Château Latour benefits from its exceptional terroir near the Gironde estuary, where well-drained gravel soils help Cabernet Sauvignon ripen with depth and precision.
