This is the domaine’s flagship wine, drawn from two prized parcels and crafted to show both purity of fruit and a distinctly floral, elegant side of the region.

Tasting Notes
Bright and inviting in the glass, with a vivid ruby hue and youthful clarity. The nose is open and charming, showing rose petals, blackberries, and fresh red berries, along with a subtle herbal lift that adds complexity. On the palate, it is vivid and energetic, with excellent acidity framing a soft, juicy fruit profile. Expect a delicious mix of red berries, dark berries, and a gentle herbal-spice note, all carried by a fresh, supple texture. This is a wine made for near-term enjoyment, though it can comfortably age for up to 5 years from the vintage.

Production
The grapes come from two Fleurie parcels, La Chapelle des Bois and Champagne, both planted with 45-year-old vines on south-facing slopes in granite soils—ideal conditions for expressive Gamay. The fruit is organically farmed and hand-harvested, then fermented with native yeast over 10 days before a short maturation in large oak barrels and bottling at the estate.

Food & Serving
Serve slightly chilled at around 14–16°C to highlight its freshness and aromatic lift. It is an excellent partner for lighter dishes such as roast chicken, charcuterie, grilled salmon, mushroom dishes, quiche, or herb-roasted vegetables. Decanting is not necessary, but a short aeration can help if opening it young.
