Château de Corcelles Fleurie 2024 combines the elegant, floral character of one of Beaujolais’ most celebrated crus with the atmosphere of a château whose history reaches back to the Carolingian period. A charming red with vivid colour, supple texture and graceful fruit, it is an inviting expression of Fleurie for enjoying in its youth.

Tasting Notes
The wine has an intense red colour with attractive purple reflections. Its nose is distinctly fruity and floral, offering a light, refined impression rather than heavy concentration. On the palate, it opens soft and rounded, with the floral notes from the bouquet returning alongside fresh, silky fruit and a smooth finish. The 2024 vintage is best appreciated for its youthful freshness, fragrance and easy-drinking elegance. It can be enjoyed now, with careful storage allowing the wine to develop added softness and complexity over the next few years.

Production
The vineyard includes a significant number of old vines, averaging around 40 years of age. Grapes are hand-selected by a team of approximately 150 pickers before being sorted. Vinification takes place in a modern facility while following traditional Beaujolais methods, including a 15–20-day maceration. The wine is then matured in stainless-steel tanks and bottled early in the summer, preserving its floral character and fresh fruit.

Food & Serving
A versatile choice for white meats, roast chicken, pork and tender lamb, as well as charcuterie, pâtés and mushroom-based dishes. Serve lightly chilled at around 14–16°C to highlight its freshness and floral aromas. Decanting is generally unnecessary, although a brief aeration in the glass can help the young wine open up.

Producer
Château de Corcelles is a historic estate built on the foundations of a much older Carolingian-period settlement. Situated near the Douby River—once a boundary between the bishoprics of Autun and Lyon and between Burgundy and Beaujolais—the château later became associated with the Ragny de La Magdeleine and Tircuy de La Barre families. Its Renaissance-style courtyard reflects the estate’s long history, while the château has been protected as part of France’s national cultural heritage since 1927. Following extensive restoration in the 1960s and further investment by the Richard family, Château de Corcelles has regained its former splendour and continues to welcome visitors from around the world.
