Born in Italy to German parents, he grew up where hospitality wasn’t a profession—it was the family language. From an early age, he was knee-deep in grape harvests, simmering sauces, and the quiet art of making people feel at home.
He trained as a sommelier in Florence, sharpening a natural instinct for wine into serious expertise. His career took him through some of Europe’s most demanding kitchens, including the iconic Rutz in Berlin. Technique, discipline, and excellence became second nature—but never at the cost of soul.
He later led Mrs Robinson’s, a high-level restaurant with an outsized reputation, beloved by chefs and insiders for its intimacy and precision. Today in Copenhagen, he works alongside renowned chef Bo Bech as manager and head sommelier at Restaurant Bobe. Deeply wine-driven, effortlessly professional, quietly playful, and always fun!
