Tasting Notes

Production
Produced in Sauternes, Bordeaux, where morning mists from the Ciron and Garonne rivers encourage noble rot, Yquem’s fruit is famously harvested by multiple selective passes through the vineyard. Only the healthiest botrytized berries are picked by hand, ensuring extraordinary concentration and purity. The wine is vinified with meticulous care to preserve balance, complexity, and the estate’s signature elegance.

Food & Serving
Excellent with foie gras, blue cheese, fruit-based desserts, tarte Tatin, or simply enjoyed on its own as a meditative wine. Serve well chilled at around 8–10°C, and decanting is usually unnecessary unless the wine is very mature or showing reduction.
