This wine comes from selected parcels of younger vines at Vista Verde Vineyard in California’s Central Coast, where the cooler climate and site-specific mineral character help preserve freshness and finesse. The grapes are harvested with care to maintain their natural vibrancy, then vinified to emphasize purity of fruit and texture rather than heavy extraction. It was aged for 11 months in a thoughtful barrel regime of 34% new oak, 34% one-year-old barrels, and 32% two-year-old barrels. This combination adds subtle spice and complexity while keeping the wine’s lightness and clarity at the forefront.
